This 2021 Kia Seltos SX DCT AWD combines turbocharged performance, all-weather capability, and a full suite of safety and comfort features in a compact SUV package. It’s powered by a 1.6L T-GDI four-cylinder engine with idle stop and go, delivering 175 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 195 lb-ft of torque from just 1500 rpm. Mated to a dual-clutch automatic transmission and automatic full-time all-wheel drive with an electronic transfer case and permanent locking hubs, the drivetrain is supported by a 4.643 axle ratio, 130-amp alternator, and a 60-amp/hr battery with rundown protection.

The suspension features struts up front and a multi-link rear design, complemented by gas-pressurized shocks, front anti-roll bar, and electric power-assisted steering. Four-wheel disc brakes with ABS, front vented rotors, brake assist, and both hill descent and hill hold control provide confident braking. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels with P235/45R18 tires, and includes a compact steel spare stored under the cargo floor. The 50-litre fuel tank supports longer trips between fill-ups.

Inside, the SX trim includes heated front bucket seats with a 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar, and a manually adjustable front passenger seat. The rear bench is a 60/40 split-folding design with a fold-forward seatback. The interior is finished with piano black and metal-look accents throughout the dash, doors, and console, along with a leather and metal-look steering wheel and shift knob.
