It’s powered by a 3.6L VR6 DOHC 24-valve engine with FSI direct fuel injection and start-stop technology, delivering 276 horsepower at 6200 rpm and 266 lb-ft of torque at 2750 rpm. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission with Tiptronic and driver-selectable modes, power is sent to all four wheels through a full-time all-wheel drive system with a 3.60 axle ratio and permanent locking hubs. Supporting systems include an engine oil cooler, regenerative alternator, and a 70-litre fuel tank.

Built on a long 117-inch wheelbase, the Atlas rides on 20-inch all-season tires and features a strut front and multi-link rear suspension setup with gas-pressurized shocks and anti-roll bars.
